Phatsimo the Giant

Shining like the sun, “Phatsimo,” a prophetic name for a storyteller whose anvil is light, striking at the perfect time is the hammer of luck. Born in the ancestral village of Kanye, Botswana, growing up listening to stories around the fire and in church from Molepolole through California, the Midwest, and finally Nevada. With a strong connection to the land and to food equity, Phatsimo’s mission is bringing access to the outdoors and to locally grown food. Formally educated in business, engineering, and hydrology, Phatsimo was classically trained as photographer through apprenticeship and assistant photography from the days of film into the cell phone area. After years in the commercial and advertising space shooting hospitality, Phatsimo is well versed in still life, interior and exterior architecture, food and beverage, along with lifestyle photography and direction. Driven by the notion that we are nature along with a passion for food and land equity, Phatsimo finds himself lending the lens and storytelling to those missions. To remind ourselves that each of our songs are beautiful and we all sing a singular song in our own time.
